Pearse Portfolio are supporting a high growth international fintech business in looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to lead the finance function through a period of scale.
This is a hands-on role owning the day to day running of finance while bringing structure and rigour to processes built for growth. You will sit close to the leadership team and play a central part in tightening controls, reporting, and month-end as the business matures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own month-end close, management accounts, and the reporting cycle
- Strengthen financial controls, processes, and systems in a fast-moving environment
- Manage and develop a small transactional finance team
- Partner with leadership on cash, forecasting, and board reporting
- Support audit readiness and improve the quality of financial data
Experience:
- Qualified accountant, audit trained(ACA, ACCA, CAANZ)
- Proven Financial Controller experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or another regulated, high-growth environment
- Strong technical accounting and a genuine controls mindset
- Comfortable operating hands-on in a scaling business with imperfect processes
