Finance Manager – VC-Backed Fintech
Pearse Portfolio are excited to be partnering with a rapidly scaling, VC-Backed fintech following a significant investment round.
Headquartered in London with a rapidly growing international footprint, the business is building out its finance function as it continues to expand across multiple markets.
The Role:
This is a Finance Manager role with direct exposure to the CFO and other senior stakeholders across the business, providing fantastic career progression opportunities.
You will be heavily involved in the day to day running of the month end, statutory reporting and audit readiness. You will also play a key part in driving process improvement and financial system implementation, giving you the opportunity to shape how the finance function scales alongside the business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close and prepare accurate, timely management accounts and statutory reporting for management and regulators
- Support regulator and external auditor requests, helping to manage the annual audit and licence-related reporting obligations
- Manage the ERP from a finance control perspective, supporting automation and audit-trail integrity through the close process
- Drive process improvement and systems projects, partnering with the wider finance team
- Assist with strategic finance work, including forecasting, business partnering and ad hoc projects where required
Requirements:
- Experience within fintech, payments, or another regulated environment
- Experience working with financial regulators and managing licence-related reporting
- Audit-trained background preferred
- ERP system experience is preferred
