Pearse Portfolio is supporting a well-backed business in Ireland who is looking for an experienced Interim Finance Director to lead the finance function on a contract basis. This is a hands-on, senior role for someone who can step in quickly, bring order and pace, and give the leadership team and investors confidence during a busy period.

The Role:

Reporting to the board, you will take full ownership of the finance function, including:

• Financial reporting and month-end close
• Cash and working capital management
• Budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting
• Business partnering with the leadership team
• Strengthening controls and processes
• Acting as the key point of contact for investors, lenders, and auditors

Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Prior experience as a Finance Director or in a senior finance leadership role
• Track record of operating at pace in a fast-moving or transactional environment, ideally private equity backed or investor-led
• Confident leader of people and a clear communicator with the board
• Familiarity with the Irish market is required
• Available at short notice with a strong on-site presence
