Interim CFO
Location: Germany (Remote)
Contract: 6-9 month contract
Pearse Portfolio is supporting a leading private equity investor who are acquiring a well established manufacturing business through a special situations transaction. The business has a strong operational foundation, a recognised market position, and sales of c. €50m. The finance function needs an experienced leader from day one.
Priority in the first 90 days:
- Assess and stabilise the finance function – people, processes, controls
- Establish clean, reliable management information and investor reporting
- Get on top of cash – forecasting, working capital, treasury
- Build the foundation for a diligence ready business ahead of a future exit
Ongoing mandate:

Own all finance across the group – accounting, controlling, FP&A

Act as a trusted business partner to the CEO and operational leadership

Drive commercial discipline across a lean, hands-on management team
Experience:

Interim CFO with demonstrable post-transaction experience with a strong finance transformation background

Excellent experience with process improvement, implementing robust controls and delivering value

Comfortable stepping into ambiguity and creating structure fast

Manufacturing, or industrial sector background preferred

German-speaking, DACH-based, immediately available

PE-literate, used to operating under investor scrutiny
